Description
The incumbent of this position is responsible for the efficient functioning of the Reservations department
Key Responsibilities
? Ensuring that all incoming enquiries are handled within a maximum of 24 hours
? Working with the revenue director to update the PMS codes and setup when necessary
? Assisting the sales and events managers in effectively dealing with all commission and accounts queries
? Ensuring all necessary billing instructions are applied to reservations
? Making sure that the team is fully informed of all rates, including negotiated and promotional rates, and that any new promotions and packages are communicated effectively to all relevant departments
? Ensuring that the team answers all incoming telephone enquiries in a timely and professional manner
? Identifying and assisting with the training needs of team members
? Liaising with the Sales team to resolve any issues, and handle site inspections and office visits' information in the PMS
? Ensuring that all VIP and special requests information is efficiently saved in the PMS
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
? Deep knowledge of Opera PMS
? At least 2 years of previous experience in the hospitality business (luxury field is preferred)
? Excellent proficiency in Italian and English language, both written and spoken.
